8 Reasons we stopped buying bottled water (and switched to Liquid of Life filters instead)

I was tired of drinking microplastic. The bottles and gallons I was drinking sit in trucks and storerooms in 40-degree heat for weeks, and the hotter plastic gets, the more it sheds into the water.

Then I read that a single liter of bottled water can carry around 240,000 plastic particles, most of them small enough to pass into the bloodstream. That was it for me.

No rationing the last bottle, no running dry halfway through cooking. The tap just works, and it is water I trust for the whole family, because our own water was tested and certified by an accredited UAE lab.

We were rebuying bottled water and gallons every single month, with no end in sight.

The filter pays for itself in about three months, and after that it just keeps saving us money, month after month.

I thought it would be a big, messy job. It was nothing like that. A technician came, fitted it under the sink in about half an hour, checked the water, and left everything spotless.

Nothing for me to work out, nothing to maintain, exactly what I wanted.
